Sean McConnell, a native of Montreal, graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. He and his family moved to Toronto so that he could complete the four-year naturopathic program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). During the four years at CCNM Sean was involved with curriculum development and was elected as student representative to the Board of Governors of the College. After clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and selection for rotation at the college’s satellite clinic at Anishnawbe, Sean graduated and was awarded the Dr. Shimon Levytam prize for outstanding understanding of naturopathic medicine. Presently, Sean acts as a teaching assistant for Health Psychology Year I and Year III and Naturopathic Manipulation Year II and Year III. Sean is also working at Ancestral Voices Healing Center on the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory southwest of Hamilton.

Sean uses all modalities of naturopathic medicine including diet, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese dietetics, homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage, naturopathic manipulation and lifestyle counseling. His practice focuses on how mental, emotional, spiritual and physical landscapes impact the patient, their health concerns and their healing. The mind-body connection is relevant to all illness and must be engaged if there is to be a true return to whole health.

Dr. McConnell is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy; is a Member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is licensed to practice in the province of Ontario.
