Practitioner Bio: Ellen Wong, ND
|
Ellen Wong, ND, centres her family practice on treating individuals in all stages of health. She enjoys treating a wide range of patients including those with gastrointestinal concerns, women’s health concerns, mental health concerns and those who want cancer support. She believes in a safe and effective combined use of traditional and modern scientific methods to balance both physical and mental wellness. Because all patients are unique, Ellen uses an individualized approach in combining traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, botanical medicine, nutrition and counseling. Ellen aims not only to treat her patients’ current concerns, but also works with them to prevent re-occurrences and reach the level of health her patients wish to reach. Along with practicing at the Integrated Healthcare Clinic, Ellen is a Clinic Resident at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She currently supervises 4th year students at RSNC as well as Sherbourne Health Centre. Ellen is also involved in teaching various courses at CCNM including: acupuncture, standards of primary care, hydrotherapy, physical medicine and physical diagnosis. Prior to graduating from CCNM, Ellen completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with biology and psychology specialties at the University of Waterloo. She has since received extra training in traditional Chinese medicine and facial acupuncture. Ellen is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Fee Schedule
